We did last night, it was like trying to juggle with jelly.....

We eventually managed it with a LOT of effort and a length of wool.

This is Starlight a 12 month old fawn corn snake. He was a birthday present for my son's 9th birthday.

I think he must be the coolest birthday present EVER..... Especially when he starts eating down baby rats whole.

As of 09:30 this morning I am the proud owner of a bright, shiny new Xbox 360. No queing for 5 hours in the cold and dark, just walked into GAME, threw my cash on the counter and exchanged it for one 360 and a copy of Perfect Dark Zero (my review to follow, possibly)

My first impressions of the 360 are very positive, it took me approx 3 mins to swap over my Live account, I hooked up my MP3 player and was straight in, had a few problems with viewing my photos but then I had put the cable in the camera upside down....

So i've played my music , viewed my pic's and played PDZ, downloaded a playable demo of Kameo, played Hexic HD and built up my gamerscore. I think I am in heaven.

Overall rating: 360 out of 10 !!!!!!!

Less than 24 hrs to go.....

Well here I sit, in antisipation of the biggest thing in Gaming history. The dawn of the Next-Gen consoles (at least in UK).....

Finally decided to settle for a console and Perfect Dark Zero. Play it to death then build up my collection. God a grown man excited about a new console. Can't wait.

Sony Demonstrates Anti-360 Propaganda

1UP has allegedly found evidence of a wholly owned Sony subsidiary, Koyeo, actually encouraging its employees to smear Microsoft's Xbox 360 by spreading ridiculous rumors about faulty and overheating units.

According to 1UP, "Project Light Flame" has seen Koyeo pay its third party employees to actually motivate abusive views about the console. We would understand if some hardcore Sony fans decided to engage in similar activity, but Sony is a large and respected company. If proven to be true, Sony may find itself at the center of a harmful legal battle before the Playstation 3 is even released.

With the launch of the Playstation 3 is slipping farther away, Sony can be expected to step up its anti-Xbox 360 marketing, however this is illegal propaganda and it has surprised many of us.

No response has been heard yet from Microsoft or Sony about this matter. We’ll keep you updated.

Just received the Xbox 360 'Essentials Guide' form GAME. Question is what do I get.

What I would LIKE is:

This would be £419.96.

GAME are doing:

Total price £409.

OR....

Xbox 360
Condemned
Any 4 other games.

Total price £449.99.

On paper the second GAME option seems the best but everything, as always, is down to finances...

Chromehounds (360)

The more I see of this game the more I think I MUST own it.

This is a new, fresh mech game from Tokyo based developers, FROM software. Chromehounds is shaping up to be an intensive look at war through the cockpit of an immense mech.

The 'hounds' are heavily armed war machine that will dominate the battle fields of the future. You will need good communication, stratagy and planning to ultimately dominate the world.

Players take the role of either a Squad Member or a Tactics Commander, who is responsible for strategically guiding the team to victory with verbal commands on Xbox Live.

Played Kameo

I played Kameo today in Dixons. This looks fabulous, as you would expect and played like a dream. It is a puzzle, beat-'em-up that is right out of the pages of Zelda.

Could be a top game and one the kids can play......

Today I walked into HMV and there at the back was a brand new Xbox 360 pod. And whats more there was one person playing on it, so I stood there behind him and waited, watching him playing Call of Duty 2.

It looked every bit as fabulous as I had hoped it would. Crystal clear on a HD monitor.

Then he left. It was there, just me and the machine, no one else around. I reached out a hand, I touched it. I played it...........

The controller is, in a word, perfect. Silghtly smaller than the Xbox controller S and bigger than the PS2 controller. They have also given you a second button on the front by the left and right triggers, and removed the black and white buttons, stroke of genius. No more breaking your thumbs in the heat of battle to reach the unreachable B & W buttons....

The graphics were all I expected and then some.

All I can say is roll on December.

DECEMBER 2nd 2005................ I can not wait, this is going to be the biggest event in gaming history, well since the last Xbox anyway
